The whole experience ran very smoothly on time.
This service is very much appreciated as public transport is not available for such journeys.

Surrey’s Force for Change (veterans who are not known or supported) project required transport to pick up veterans for a canal boat trip in Guildford on 16th June. The veterans were picked up from the Army Reserve Centre in Ewell and transported to the Angel Blue Canal Boat, Dapdune Wharf, Guildford FOC.

It was a really smooth & efficient service.
We really appreciate the kindness and consideration shown to the veterans.
The driver turned up early, was very kind and supportive of the veterans and efficiently drove them to the venue.

On the 18th of February and again yesterday I was brought home from a stay in St. Peter’s Hospital by a Bustler, driven by Bob. He could not have been more caring or helpful and I thank him and those who run this service very much.

My mother Pat recently travelled home on one of your buses from the Royal Surrey County Hospital following a fall.

She was so impressed by the kindness and cheerful service given by the two drivers who took her home – and said she was “treated like a queen”

We use the Woking transport bus to WH school.

I just wanted to let you know that the Driver and PA are absolutely fantastic. We have had a tricky few mornings with our son and they have gone out of their way to make it as stress free as possible. My son didn’t end up getting on the bus as he had a meltdown due to his ASD and they made me feel at ease after I felt guilty about it. They are always so patient and always arrive with a smile. It really makes all the difference to a family when your child has special needs

I am writing this on my residents’ behalf and from myself, to thank your team for the exceptional service they provide.

One of my residents, who regularly goes to Moorcroft day centre, had a nasty leg situation. One of your drivers – Sarah – took him to the Woking Walk In Centre on Tuesday. As she was finishing her shift, Sarah took the Bustler back to the depot and then returned, in her own car, to check on him and bring him home.

We are so grateful for her help. I am sure that these kindnesses are always appreciated, but often not fed back to those who need to know.

CHRISTMAS DAY AT MOORCROFT FOR THE LONELY

On behalf of our President, Bob Hills and our members, I am writing to thank you for your help with our Christmas Day Dinner and entertainment last week. All reports we have from the guests and our helpers who in total were over 100, was how much they enjoyed both the Dinner and the Bingo afterwards, and the ‘goody bags’ we gave our guests on leaving.

Guy, we are truly grateful to WCT for providing the Bustler, and particularly to Richard Shaw as your volunteer driver once again, helping those guests with wheelchairs or walking aids, who without your Bustler would have been unable to attend the festivities and Dinner we provided at Moorcroft, and thus would have been on their own instead.

I hand delivered a thank you letter to Richard last week, and spoke to him and his family, and told them how much we appreciated their help. We were successful in getting a short ‘thank you letter’ in last week’s News and Mail, under the heading “A most enjoyable Christmas Lunch”, but inadvertently it showed Richard as Steve Shaw. My sincere apologies to Richard for that, but nothing I can do after the event. Please could you give Richard a copy of this letter so he has our apologies for the wrong first name being included.

Our sincere thanks for your help in keeping this annual event going this Christmas, which has now been running for over 30 years, providing company and entertainment for so many local people who otherwise would be on their own on Christmas Day
