Partners of WCT Bustler
Woking Community Transport (Bustler) are proud to have great local partners who help us provide our members with their transportational needs.

Surrey County Council
We are proud to be a Partner of Surrey County Council and Woking Bustler acknowledges the generous support of Surrey County Council in developing this web site.
They support the WokingBustler and Woking Community Transport and without their help we would not be able to offer our members these transportation services and help.
We provide a number of services for Surrey County Council including:

Surrey Choices is all about helping customers and their families to find the best support, care, activities and services for their needs.
Surrey Choices works across the whole of Surrey and offers day and community support services, supported employment, enhanced home living and support, training and skills for independence, and a professional social work practice team.
We currently look after all the maintenance and safety inspections for Surrey Choices vehicles.
Grassroots Project
The Grassroots project is a leisure and life skills facility for the special needs community. It offers horticultural facilities, activities and leisure services, combined with essential life skills to promote an active future for children and adults alike. It provides transport links to and from its facility, ensuring that services are accessible to everyone in the community. WCT is providing a vehicle and driver each day (Monday to Friday) for this vital service.
Schools
Pond Meadow
On contract with Surrey County Council, we are currently the sole transport provider for Pond Meadow SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) school. At the present time we are providing twenty buses. Due to the needs of the children, most of the vehicles are specially adapted; we are using low-floor vehicles with ramped entrance/exits and vehicles with passenger lifts. A Passenger Assistant is also provided, ensuring the driver can concentrate on getting the children safely to school and home again.
EMED Group is an established healthcare logistics provider that enables access to health and social care through four specialist divisions.
Woking shopMobility is a registered charity providing mobility scooters powered and manual wheelchairs for hire to enhance your access to Woking town centre. This includes theatres, cinemas, shopping centres, and restaurants.
Additionally, we offer power chairs, manual wheelchairs and travel scooters for holidays and day trips.
Rentals are available daily or weekly and must be reserved in advance.
The travel scooters are particularly popular, especially in the summer, and can be easily disassembled for car storage and transport.
We also offer a 16-space FREE CAR PARK exclusively for our clients. Blue Badge status is not required for our services as we understand some disabilities are not permanent.

Surrey Connect is a safe and reliable bus sharing service connecting you to your local community.
It is a digital on demand bus service, known as a Digital Demand Responsive Transport (DDRT) solution which we run on behalf of Surrey County Council, it uses accessible minibuses, with journey bookings made on a first come first served basis.

The software cleverly groups customer demands together in real time. When the booking is made with the “leave at” feature, the software takes your requested time and compares it with other customer requests in the area. It then links them up to create single journeys that are convenient for a group of users at once, scheduling the pickup time within a window of 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after the preferred booking time. Alternatively, if you need to be at your destination for a specific time, such as a train departure, you can use the “arrive at” feature. It will then dynamically generate options for you that will get you there and ensure you are never late. The connect service operates Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 6pm. You can book up to 7 days in advance or on the same day using the Surrey Connect App, website or booking line (01483 744 807). A minimum of 30 minutes notice is required to communicate your booking with the connect driver. We operate in the 7 areas in Surrey covering Runnymede, Surrey Heath, West Guildford, Wider Guildford, Cranleigh, Haslemere & Farnham.
