Surrey County Council COP26 Event
Woking Community Transport (Bustler) were delighted to be part of Surrey County Council’s COP26 Event yesterday, providing three 100% electric vehicles to transport dignitaries, college students and members of the Shifa Network to and from the event.
The vehicles were also on show throughout the day for the public and local authorities to view.
The event showcased opportunities to reduce carbon emissions through transport, was live-streamed globally and into Glasgow’s main event.
Woking Community Transport is pioneering within the community transport sector by moving to a fully electric fleet (including infrastructure). Our approach towards electric vehicles will deliver a reduction of circa 389 tons of CO2 per year.
