Town Centre Buggy

For anybody who has difficulty in walking, the Town Centre Buggy will take you anywhere within the pedestrianised precinct area of Woking town centre for free. The Buggy continuously circuits the precinct so just hail and stop it at any point. The Buggy service is available Monday to Friday between 09.30 am and 2.00 pm.

Dial-A-Ride and the Town Centre Buggy connect at the Civic Offices with the Woking Shopmobility service. In 2006, a new Mobility Exchange was opened at the Civic Offices to provide somewhere comfortable where you can wait for these services.

We are grateful to Woking Borough Council and Friends of the Elderly for their assistance in meeting the running costs of the Town Centre Buggy.

Group Transport

Our minibuses are also available for use by community groups requiring transport for their regular activities or for occasional days or evenings out. We can either provide a driver or the group can use their own volunteer driver, subject to an assessment by our MIDAS trainer. To find out more, ring our Advice Line 01483 744800.

5 Star

For smaller groups or families we also have a 6 seater (or driver and 4 passengers plus one wheelchair) specially adapted Nissan Serena "people carrier". The Serena can be hired with or without a driver for short or long trips, or holidays, anywhere in the country! To find out more, ring our Advice Line 01483 744800.
